SUPER SERIES STRUCTURES
Mahaffey introduced the Super Series to the North American
market in 1981. Since then, it has been used thousands of
times for every imaginable military application, including AAR/TOC
Tents, DFAC Buildings, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR)
Facilities, Security Checkpoints, and more. The hollow,
aluminum box beam uses an ingenious groove in each of the four
corners. A fabric welt, called keder, slides into the grooves
in the box beam. The result is a lightweight fabric structure
that can be rapidly installed and withstand severe weather
conditions.
The Super Series is modular with 16.4 ft, or 5m, bays added one to
another for theoretically unlimited lengths.

MEGA SERIES STRUCTURES
The Mega Series family of structures is similar to the
Super Series in that it uses hollow aluminum box beams. These
beams are extruded with keder grooves in each of the four corners,
which allows the fabric to be quickly and securely fastened to the
frame. Mega Series structures are distinguished by the large
dimensions of the extrusion itself - 4.75" x 13.5". This
extrusion is reinforced in all critical areas with a massive
aluminum I-beam.
The result is truly a MegaStructure able to withstand extreme winds
up to 120 miles per hour, combined with snow loads of 30 lbs. per sq
ft. This beefy structure retains its ability to be assembled
and installed quickly. It is best suited for applications of
at least four months
and is ideal for semi-permanent projects.
