Turnkey Base Camp Accommodations
Hot Food / Refrigeration:
Our food service equipment is designed to increase
efficiency and sanitation, allowing us to serve high
quality, tasty food in a pleasing environment wherever your
base camp is located. Kitchens are equipped with
generators for power distribution and backup generators for
continuity. We offer outside lighting for personnel
safety, as well as an array of flooring options. 1,000
gallons of fresh water and a capacity of 1,500 gallons of
“gray water” storage. 1,200 cups of coffee is kept
consistently at 160ºF, and can
be ready to drink in less than 30 minutes.
Depending on your food service needs, job-specific food trailers
are brought in. Refrigerated and freezer trailers provide
sanitary food storage, and diesel generators with a seven-day supply
of fuel ensure the safety of all food. Main kitchen trailers
for food preparation and drink trailers with cold water lines are
brought on site. Cold drinks can be maintained at 35ºF.
Mahaffey food service is designed to exceed your needs in remote
locations or wherever base camps are needed.
Sleeping Structures:
When it comes to temporary base camps, Mahaffey can provide
shelter with flooring, lighting, and climate control within 72 hours
of your need. We will provide site and structure diagrams
detailing your specific needs.
Corporate clients often request individual rooms within the
base camp structures. With our patent-pending wall system,
each person is provided a dedicated room with a locking door (which
can open inside or outside the structure), cot, pillow, linens,
drawers for clothes, electricity, and room lighting.
Mahaffey has performed cost analysis solutions based on
costs per person, per day, compared to other off-site
solutions in specific geographic areas. Many companies
find that the cost of keeping employees on-site in
established base camps offers enormous benefits.
Morale, Recreation, and Welfare (MWR) Structures:
Mahaffey provides all base camp clients with dedicated space
for the relaxation of its personnel. Every MWR
structure is equipped based on the needs of our customers.
